Mt. Whiteface is a pretty cool hike. On October 7, 1998, my brother Jeff and I took the Blueberry Ledge Trail from a nice cow meadow (or were they horses?) up to the 4,010 foot summit. The terrain is varied and interesting, especially when nearing the top. There are a lot of ledges with good lookouts and rock slabs that make up the trail. The summit was comfortable, but mostly enclosed, leaving us with only a 180 degree view.
