Mt. Chocorua, which stands near Route 16 between Ossipee and North Conway, NH is 3,475 feet tall and reportedly the most photographed mountain in the world. It's steep, bald peek and valley lake make it very picturesque. Check out Hedgehog Hill Group's Mt. Chocorua Web Cam for live video feed of the beautiful mountain. I have climbed Chocorua many times.

My favorite trail is the Brook Trail which has a completely different feel in the summer than in the fall when the fallen leaves open up the otherwise dense forest that runs along the brook. It's a relatively steep hike, but the views above tree line (where you're accompanied by lush green pines) are simply amazing. The summit is wide open and it's easy to find a comfortable spot to enjoy your lunch.
