I often get asked to compare the two trips that I went on. The first trip was more exciting because it was my first time out of the country. It was also more fun because a) I was seeing everything for the first time, and b) the first tour group had some, shall we say, louder personalities. I also got to meet some of the people who eventually became great friends:
Dave and
Frankie, in particular. However, the second trip was much more of a spiritual journey. I got to know God in a much more meaningful and deeper way during this journey. The love of Jesus came alive like never before as I traced his steps throughout the land he called home. It truly was a life-changing experience.
