Jordan River Baptism
After our scaly lunch, we went to a baptismal site on the Jordan River. Eight people in the group wanted to be baptized, including myself (we didn't travel 7000 miles to NOT be baptized!). There, on a cool, rainy day, we got dunked into the cold waters of the Jordan as a sign of rededication to the One who gives us life. I really can't describe the feeling I had at this moment. It was awesome.
