Our second day's itinerary included a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, Galilee Experience in Tiberias, Mount of Beatitudes, Fish Lunch and Jordan River Baptism

Sea of Galilee On a cloudy Friday morning, we boarded a boat docked at the Ein Gev Kibbutz and headed out onto the Sea of Galilee. While we were on the boat, our tour guide Amir held out his hands to show us the small fraction of Israel along the sea in which Jesus spent 2/3 of his ministry. In fact, the only time Jesus crossed to the other side of the lake (which was inhabited by Gentiles) was when he delivered a possessed man by sending his demons into a herd of swine.

The boat paused halfway across the lake and after Amir and Pastor George taught for awhile, we sat and rested in the peace and quiet of the Sea of Galilee.
