Go to Dan's Place |
Dan's Place was my very first web site. It was created on an old Macintosh with a very simple, yet colorful layout. It is a typical college-age student's web site with the obligatory joke e-mail page, a page of links, and sounds from The Simpsons. There are also some bad-quality CVS photos. Designed, Developed & Maintained (for a while). |

As a graduate assistant at Bentley College, I was assigned to maintain the home site for the Bentley Service- Learning Center. It was during this time that I learned the most about HTML. My first couple renditions were simply awful (from a design standpoint), but with the proper coaching I was able to make the site better and better. The site has since been replaced by a timelier one. Designed (somewhat), Developed & Maintained. |

Go to the TSM Online Guide |
BC630 is a graduate class I took in technical writing. Students were encouraged to make on-the-job writing the basis for their assignments. As a software tester, I had become a virtual expert on Timeslips for the Mac, so I asked my boss if there was a writing project I could do based on that. The result is the Timeslips for the Mac Online Guide which was used on the Timeslips Web site. Designed, Developed & Maintained. |

Go to the WATCH CDC home site |
This was the most organized start-to-finish project that I've worked on. My team of five from Bentley's Electronic Commerce class visited the WATCH CDC offices to determine their goals for a new web site. Then we worked together on extracting content, organizing it, and writing it up in a web-ready manner. Meanwhile, I did the site design. Finally, we imported the writing into the pages and, I believe, achieved a pretty good result upon our completion in Dec. 1997. Designed & Developed. |
Go to PSP Homework |
This site is nothing major, but I just thought this would be a fun site to bring back. I created it when I was taking an online course at the now-defunct ZDU. The course was in Paint Shop Pro and it was a lot of fun! |

On Groundhog Day, 1998, I began working professionally as a HTML specialist for NECX Direct, the then #1 computer hardware retailer on the Web. Working at NECX Direct sharpened my HTML skills drastically as I learned to convert ideas from graphic designers and project managers into fully-functional web pages. When Gateway purchased 20% of NECX Direct in February 1999, we successfully created a store for them called SpotShop.com which drastically increased the amount of customers. In 1999, I did a pro-bono site for Essex Christian Academy, my alma-mater. It was found at essexchristian.org. Unfortunately, ECA closed its doors after the 1999-2000 school year. Designed, Developed & Maintained. |
 Go to Gateway.com |
Well, we did so well with SpotShop (see above) that Gateway decided to adopt us into their family. On April 1, 2000 all NECX Direct employees became Gateway employees and I became the Production Manager for Gateway.com. I supervised the Production team that did the HTML and some of the graphics for the consumer side of this highly-rated e-commerce site. On January 29, 2002, Gateway announced the closing of our office. Maintained & Managed. |
 Go to reality7.com |
Reality7.com isn't actually a web site. It's "web space." On this domain, Dave and I host our own sites as well as those we do for other people and organizations. Designed, Developed & Maintained. |
